Preview: Millwall vs. Rotherham United

RICARDO Fuller could return to the Millwall side for Saturday's visit of Rotherham.

Fuller was used as an impact substitute in the 1-1 draw with Sheffield Wednesday in midweek, creating Magaye Gueye's dramatic injury-time equaliser.

But Ian Holloway has hinted that the striker will be reinstated to the starting XI when the Lions take on the Millers in SE16 tomorrow.

Gueye, though, is likely to be named on the bench again.

Holloway is closely monitoring the fitness levels of Alan Dunne, Scott McDonald and Jimmy Abdou who have featured in all four of Millwall's games so far this season.

Nicky Bailey has been sidelined until after the international break in September with a calf strain but Richard Chaplow returned to training this week.

Ed Upson is still out but is scheduled to rejoin the squad on Monday.

New Rotherham signing Anthony Wordsworth is set to make his debut at The Den.

Wordsworth has joined the Yorkshire side on loan from Ipswich Town.

But Steve Evans' side were dealt a blow this week when star man Paul Green limped out of their 2-0 defeat by Watford.

Green will miss out, while top scorer Kieran Agard has joined Bristol City.

Think this game is a really good opportunity to show that we're not messing about this season! People may never take us seriously as promotion contenders, but i say f*** 'em! If we can get another win under our belt this Saturday, confidence among the players will be sky high! Won't be an easy game, there's no such thing in the Championship, but i believe we have the ability to go out and win and win comfortably! I reckon 3-0 Millwall and top of the table come 5:00pm! @thecolumbusblock: I think it will be close (1-0) until the last 10/15 minutes and then we'll get two more.

@mitchamscaff: agree with that, think we will win.
Look forward to the moment that others open their eyes, see what Martin is doing, and give Him the massive amount of credit he deserves! The lad does not stop running!

Cannot wait until tomorrow. Three points is definitely on the cards. We've got some strength in depth for once so can cope more easily with the amount of games we've got in a short space of time. I'm hoping for a 3-0 win and hope the players can get to grips with the passing game. Not as much as Fulham but less than at Wednesday, somewhere in between and then a killer pass will do me nicely. COYL see you all down the Den. Att prediction 12k. Hopefully I'll be able sit in my usual seat unlike against Leeds.

I think this will be a tough game.
After 2 promotions they will have confidence and have a Manager that will relish this game.

Big day Saturday, if we can pull off a good win, 2 or 3 - 0 then I think this will really set down a marker for the rest of the season. With a good win over Blackpool and a decent performance against Southampton it will probably mean that the club will be looking very good for the rest of the season. We have not spent a lot of money, with no big ego's, but the team really looks like a team, with a decent bench could we just be the Burnley of this season?

@Jim28: Don't you remember when poxy rotherham stuffed us 6-0 a couple of seasons ago? A mate of mine is a Derby fan and he reckons they were lucky to beat them. Hopefully we'll get a win and keep the run going but I'm not sure it's going to be as easy as some people think.

Who mentioned Pope, agree. Mr Holloway sign the boy!!!! He can't stop scoring. For me a 2-0 and make the DEN a fortress, lets go the season unbeaten at home. Must go wife and babies (I know you understand).

Good luck 2day , hope the den is packed and they can hear the roar at London bridge. Great start to the season but another 3 points today would be a huge bonus. Still buzzing from the other nights finish.

Steve Evans will set out to frustrate the fans and bring all 11 players in his own half. Expect them to try a smash and grab counter attacking strategy, if we don't score early this game could be very tight!

@glyngo: If we keep doing what we've been doing - I reckon we can get a result today. You're probably right, they will try and get us on the counter - but if we stay organized and everybody covers each other - it will be hard for Rotherham to get anything. Really like Ollies strategy - it's fluid from defense to attack, so it's pretty hard for the opposition to nail us down.
Sheffield Weds were nothing special, hardly felt nervous for the whole game and they got a lucky free kick... It's a shame we weren't more lively in the 1st half at Hillsborough - the comments on us passing for the sake of it were right - but I don't think that's a bad thing - keeping possession is good - we just needed to be more fluid going forward with it. You could see the lads were tired from fulham and I think they might've even overestimated Weds and didn't want to be caught at the back... But Ollie spotted this and the 2nd half was so much better.
If we're organized and confident with it.... we'll win today. COYL!!!
