Holloway: Millwall must be wary of "dangerous" Millers

MILLWALL will come up against a "dangerous" opponent this weekend when they face newly-promoted Rotherham at The Den, Ian Holloway has warned.

The Millers, whose return to the Championship this year comes after back-to-back promotions, have lost two of their opening three league fixtures.

But Lions boss Holloway says his side should not be lulled into a false sense of security ahead of Saturday's clash in SE16.

He said: "Rotherham are a really good team. Mick Harford's scout report from Tuesday night tells me they will be the strongest side we've faced so far.

"They will hit the ball long to Alex Revell and get loads of bodies all around him. Mick felt they were very dangerous and that they're very, very fit and very combative.

"Stats-wise they hammered Watford in midweek. They were the better team but let two goals in on the counter-attack.

"We'll have our work cut out – like you do in any Championship xenical game – but I want to continue our unbeaten run and keep building on things.

"I really like the way my team are playing and let's see if we can get another victory at home. That would be fantastic but we'll have to earn it, I know that."

Holloway was dealt an injury blow earlier this week with the news that Nicky Bailey will be out until mid-September.

Bailey suffered a recurrence of a calf problem during the win over Fulham last weekend.

"He said he was fit, we had to listen to him and he's gone and re-torn it," Holloway said.

"It is an awkward one because you do not always know how bad they are and you try to get through it – especially Nicky because he's a tough cookie."

This is the sort of fixture where it normally all comes to a shattering anti-climax!If we can stay focused and earn 3 good points in front of an upbeat crowd,we really will have to be taken seriously.

The Millers didn't look so dangerous in the movie with Jennifer Aniston.
There was a drug dealer, a stripper, a virgin boy and a runaway girl. I think that sums it up pretty well.
