Keeper: Millwall's travelling fans will shock Fulham stars

FULHAM'S ex-Premier League stars can expect a "bit of a shock" when over 4,000 Millwall fans turn up at Craven Cottage on Saturday.

That's the view of goalkeeper David Forde, who reckons the Lions' travelling army will drum up a fantastic atmosphere in this weekend's London derby.

"They'll be in for a bit of a shock," Forde said.

"We're taking over 4,000 fans and they'll thoroughly enjoy going there because it's a fantastic football venue.

"It's an old-school ground and there aren't many of those left.

"I played there a couple of months ago for Ireland against Italy in front of a full house and it was fantastic. The stadium has got a bit of character and a history about it.

"The playing surface was top drawer as well so we're all looking forward to it. It's always nice when you get a chance to put yourselves up against an ex-Premier League side."

"When the Millwall fans haven't been somewhere for a few years they like to venture to these places and a bit of excitement builds.

"The Fulham players will know all about the Millwall fans once they get into full voice."

    All London clubs take 5000 to Fulham, this is nothing special only the woodworkers that are excited.
    All about Sheffield on Tuesday night for me.

      @Lonsdale London:
      Other clubs might take 5000 there but 5000 Wall will sound like 20000.
      Guaranteed they will of never heard a noise like it at their place.

    There's something about Fulham. Last time I went was in the season Bonds was manager. We filled the open end and the team responded with a fantastic win. Remember Keegan walking across the pitch after the game head down. Seem to think we went down to 10 and a great strike by Andy Gray. A highlight in a very poor season 'cos Fulham were flying. Can't be there tomorrow as on holiday - even worse miss the Wednesday game - almost a home game for me. Good luck to those who travel and lets hope that we keep the run going.

        My point is clearly that 3,995 people will be good as gold and they'll be 5 soppy c**** that can ruin the day and they'll be the headlines won't it. Didnt say we as a whole we don't mis-behave.

    Been to Fulham many a time in the old second division days, was a crap ground then and probably still is. Remember the Millwall fans shaking the stand with their noise! The reason they allow so many Millwall fans in is because their fans stay away when we play there! lol Be great to get another result there and hope for once a decent referee and not another biased t***.
