MILLWALL have confirmed that the club has agreed a five-year sponsorship deal with Euroferries Express.

The seven-figure-deal with the ferry and coach company is the biggest in the club's history and will run until the end of the 2018-19 season.

Speaking to the club's official site, Chairman John Berylson said: "We are pleased to welcome Euroferries Express on board for the 2014/15 season and beyond.

"Throughout the whole process of finding a new main partner, the most important factor was to make the right decision, not only to safeguard all that is good about our club, but to ensure the chosen company possesses the qualities we seek to follow previous trusted partners.

“That has undoubtedly been achieved, and I look forward to working alongside Euroferries Express throughout the duration of our partnership."

Adrian Gillan, Euroferries Express Director added: "At Euroferries Express we look forward to bringing additional access and opportunities to the club to help build on its current fan base and highly acclaimed work within the local community.

"By partnering with Millwall we are looking to help the club broaden its appeal to the wider community by supplementing transport links, arranging special promotions for supporters and, last but not least, to be its shirt sponsor for the next five years."

Not a big fan of how it looks but the important thing is that we've secured a seven figure fee and got a 5 year contract with EuroFerries. Will be interesting to see what "links" they'll provide for the fans. More good news on the striker front and we'll be plain sailing *I'll get my coat*

I like the look, personally I think it compliments the kit. However, more importantly the fee has been secured. So far the board and holloway seem to be doing everything right around the club e.g. training ground and sponsor. On the striker front lots of sites have got us chasing Ishmael Miller. Does anyone have any confirmed news on this?

A very good astute sponsorship deal. This one makes a lot of sense from a business perspective, not only financially but using this companies services to emulate the sort of thing Charlton have now been doing for years and that's expanding the fan base even now out of the Prem league for years languishing in the bottom of Championship they still got fairly good turnout of numbers. People in the deepest darkest reaches of Kent may find in difficult and costly to get the Den on a regular basis in the past so having the club reach out to them with this professional service is a master stroke. Hopefully the coach services also branch out a little further afield into the other Home Counties too so to keep growing that fan base potential that is there just not seen regularly enough.

With news of plans of a possible new training complex, new players and now a very good sponsorship deal, we just need to hear the news that Renewal and Lewisham Council are not planning on selling the Den off from its current site and let Berylson build the facilities that will make the club more self-sufficient and sustainable off the field of play... Dreaming...

Think we need to stop all these ship puns, they're not funny! I just don't wanna get too excited for the new season only to get that sinking feeling. come the end of it. I think this could be very good Bus-iness for the long haul.

    In Ahoy-lloway we trust!

Good business by the looks of it, and at least a bit of stability for a few years. Definitely floats my boat.

Good deal, long term and maybe build in some savings for the fans that come to see us from Germany, Holland and Scandinavia. Often hear them chatting away at the Den, more the merrier I say.

I am totally ON BOARD, really looks good on the shirt. More importantly we finally have a decent company with decent investment. As far as I'm concerned this is due to the holloway effect, we really are riding a WAVE of optimism and I just hope more than anything this can be translated to the pitch because quite frankly the last two years have been diabolical.

I am still apprehensive about our football but I'm optimistic and excited and for me that's great. A top half finish would be superb.

Thank you Holloway and respect to Mr Berylson.

No one likes us, we don't care.

Great to have this and not those evil payday 'companies'!

Looks like it was plain sailing. I didn't know we needed any more coaches though? ...

Good move and for a tidy sum too. Things looking up!

Would be a nice touch if we kept our association with Prostate Cancer Uk.Maybe their logo on the sleeve or something, of course for free.

I quite like the way this looks. Hopefully it's sewn on or something cos the plastic s*** always comes off and looks horrible. I also like the way it keeps the simplistic look to the kit; no odd colours or patterns. (No boat puns here. Sorry)

Really surprised Lewisham Council didn't want to renew their sponsorship, what with the long term trust we have with them.
