Resurgent Owls will be a stern test for Millwall – Holloway

MILLWALL boss Ian Holloway says his side face a "very, very tough test" against a resurgent Sheffield Wednesday at The Den tonight.

Caretaker manager Stuart Gray, above, has been handed the Owls job on a permanent basis after leading the Hillsborough club on a eight-match unbeaten run in recent weeks.

The Lions can leapfrog Wednesday in the table with a win as they bid to avoid being sucked into the drop zone, with fellow strugglers Charlton and Doncaster also playing each other.

Holloway, who was linked with the vacant position at the Yorkshire club before he took over in south London, believes Gray's full-time appointment was just reward for recent results.

"He deserved to get the job because he has done really well there," Holloway said. "They're a fantastic club, Stuart's got them playing well, so it's going to be a very, very tough test.

"They will go from back to front very quickly with generic lexapro lawsuit Atdhe Nuhiu up top – I almost signed him for Crystal Palace in the summer – so we'll have to deal with that.

"We'll have to deal with that and then hurt them. I can't wait to get going because this is all we've been talking about for the past ten days, and the lads have enjoyed coming into work.

"Of course it's a big game because of where we both are in the table, but every single game we have got left this season is a big game.

"I don't like looking at the table but our position right now is a fact.

"I want us to look bright and fresh. We put in a terrific performance to beat Ipswich, who turned over Reading last weekend, and should have won more comfortably.

"Our energy was bigger and better than theirs, and that's got to be the case again. That is the minimum that I ask of the players."

And if you don't get the minimum Olly, kick them!

If you don't get them running and trying, kick them out altogether.

We're not sentimental and this is your team to do with as you think best.

That is the minimum that us fans always ask as well. Put in the effort and with the best 12th man in the football world we will always win more than we lose. Cant wait to see the 2 new boys tonight. Buzzing already. Wednesday are on fire so beat them and we really are up and running. COYL.

Well they should be well rested and now know exactly what you require of each one of them and they only have to wait another 8 hours to put it into action, The fact that Stuart Gray has now been appointed the Owls manager after a very long audition might mean they may take there collective foot off the pedel a wee bit.

But the Lions will need to get at them from the off as we witnessd against Ipswich, the starting eleven will be very interesting tonight as I am sure he will pick a side that reflects the way he and us like our football at the den, giving there all and never say die attitude, a win tonight will put us in good stead for the Reading game on Saturday. It will be very interesting the team he puts out tonight, and will speak volumes about who he likes and who he wants out, especially as there seems to be no injuries. Those 'old pros' not even on the bench should be wondering about their future me thinks. Looking forward to tonight so COYL
