JOHN Marquis will spend another month on loan at Portsmouth.

The Millwall forward has scored twice in four starts since moving to Fratton Park, and has now been given the opportunity to add to that record.

Pompey boss Guy Whittingham www.health-canada-pharmacy.com/cholesterol.html told the Portsmouth News: "John likes it here, is happy and is playing. We're pleased to have him for another month."

Meanwhile, national newspaper reports are once again linking the Lions with a loan move for Wigan forward Noah Dicko.

    Keep it up john boy.
Look out for him now and then i didnt realise he scored let alone 2 in 4. Hopefully he reaches his potential with us. Good work.
No f*** all about dicko and not sure if another forward is what we need but he may prove me wrong if there's any truth in it.

I am not sure he is Championship standard, but scoring goals will give him the confidence he needs and if he does come back to the Den then, maybe he may push for a place in the side, but he and Shaun Batt are proving that they can do it in a the lower leagues, I wish them the very best with there clubs and hope they both do well.

@Barnlion: Thing is with Marquis, he has never been given a run of games in a team. And I ain't suprised to see him when he is starting games scoring goals. Yes it's league two but its a very physical league down there. Just a shame as this should have happened for Marquis two seasons ago...

@Omer Ronayne: Your right but like so many others, you only normally get the one chance at the prize and if you blow it there is always someone else who will grab the chance, but I am sure that he will make a living playing football, it just depends at what level

According to Daily Mirror Wigan are willing to let Millwall have 21 year old winger Nouha Dicko on loan. He is very pacey, and would probably be a better choice than Hunt

@Peckhamlad: Peckham mate did you not see the last paragraph of the article above before you posted your comment, the only difference is you said what national paper it was in.

But it is still a good call by you must be faster than hunt and one for the future as well.

@Barnlion: No never read it until I posted the comment, still as everyone seems to agree rather this player than with all due respect someone who may be past his sell by date in this league. let's hope it is not more paper talk.

If the club are committed to wanting Feeney sold and/or Feeney don't want to come back then this good prove to be a good bit of business on the basis this Wigan lad scored 9 goals mostly from the bench in 2 seasons on loan with Blackpool and is a right winger as oppose to washed up Hunt asking for too much money, one last big payoff (like Shittu and look how that ones turned out this season) and is a left sided player. This player is young and hungry to prove himself as a first team player its a win-win for player and club. Almost a bit of common sense and progressive ambition shown by the club on this potential transfer.

Agree Bexley. Young and hungry, not semi-retired.

JM is only 21, and never given a run of first team football, I don't think any of us really knows what he is capable of yet. Poor Pompey don't have two brass tacks to spend so I am glad to say that we are likely to get the lad back eventually and hopefully he will be an improved player.
