Millwall face AFC Wimbledon in Capital One Cup first round

MILLWALL have been handed a home tie against AFC Wimbledon in the first round of this season's Capital One Cup.

The match, which takes place the week commencing August 5, will be new manager Steve Lomas' second competitive fixture in charge. The Championship fixtures are released at 9am this Wednesday.

    Not to bad, a chance for the club to do some cheap tickets so the fans can see Lomases team at work

      Not sure about cheap tickets, they would have to be free to get a decent crowd for that match.

    Should be a formality. I think we turned them over 3 or 4.0 a couple of years ago , Harris hattrick. Another home game is always welcome.

    They could give us a game, we haven't got a great record in this cup have we? Expect them to bring a few, sold out upper and lower a few years back.
