MILLWALL guaranteed Championship survival with a battling 2-1 win over Leicester City at The Den.

Victory for the Lions coupled with Coventry's draw at Burnley saw Kenny Jackett's side move 10 points clear of the relegation zone with three games to go, securing another season of second-tier football.

In-form strikers Harry Kane and Andy Keogh scored a goal a piece as Millwall won three games in a row for just the second time this campaign.

Kane's 23rd-minute opener, fired into the roof of the net from close range, was his third goal in three matches and the eighth of his Lions loan spell from Tottenham.

Keogh took his tally for the club to seven with his second-half penalty, calmly chipped-in after Kane had been tripped in the 55th minute.

Foxes midfielder Danny Drinkwater pulled one back for the visitors nine minutes from time when he drilled in from 20 yards, but Millwall held on for a much-deserved victory.

Millwall: Taylor, Smith, Craig, Abdou, Robinson, Lowry, Barron, Wright, Keogh (Batt, 90+3mins), Kane, Henry (Trotter, 83mins). Subs not used: Forde, Dunne, Feeney.

Leicester City: Schmeichel, Peltier (Howard, 76mins), Konchesky, Bamba, Gallagher (Dyer, 57mins), King, Wellens (Drinkwater, 68mins), Beckford, Marshall, Morgan, Nugent.
