Jackett: Millwall should be confident ahead of Hull clash

KENNY Jackett believes Millwall have every reason to be confident going into their match with Hull City at The Den on Saturday.

The Lions boss has seen his side fall victim to questionable refereeing decisions in recent home matches against Southampton and Leeds, but he insists performances have been consistently improving.

And he is looking to build on an encouraging away point at Cardiff last weekend.

"We earned a good point from a battling performance at Cardiff last weekend and kept an excellent clean sheet into the bargain," he told the club's official site.

"We were overdue a 0-0 draw away from home, and whilst I didn't think we did enough to win the game, we might have nicked it near the end.

"Generally speaking, I do feel that our performances have improved as the season has gone on.

"I have no doubt Hull City will provide very tough opposition as they look to keep in the thick of the race for the play-off places.

"It is up to us to take confidence from our recent displays and be determined to earn the positive result we need."
