MILLWALL duo David Forde and Andy Keogh have kept their places in the Republic of Ireland squad for a friendly against Poland next month.
The pair have been called up four times this campaign - for games against Oman, Serbia, Germany and Greece respectively - and will travel to Dublin again on February 6.
Keogh scored the consolation goal in a 6-1 defeat to Germany at the Aviva Stadium in October while Forde started between the sticks against Oman and Greece.
Manager Giovanni Trappattoni says he intends to use the fixture to give some of the fringe players in his squad a chance to impress ahead of a World Cup qualifier against Sweden.
He said: "We saw a number of strong performances from our younger players in the second half of last year and we intend to build from those strong foundations."

So what!
Thank you for your feedback!
That's ok. After Saturday's performance should I be rejoicing from the rooftops?
Well done lads
He's right Ireland must be desperate now given has retired from international, maybe they were impressed with fordes dribbling skills against burnley when he tried going around the forward
I think Forde's a good keeper for us he lacks the flair and skill to be going past anyone but he's won us plenty of points this season!
Should only do good things for there confidence. I'll take that. Well done!!
Two of our best players getting recognition, well done lads.
